Our world is getting faster and busier every day.  The amazing growth of technology has made the world smaller, yet bigger and easier, yet harder at the same time.  So many of us are struggling to keep up.

There is so much more to see and do but no more hours in the day.  We have access to much more and the fear of missing out has become a driving force in our need to experience everything.

Sadly this means we are constantly on the go.  No time to stop and no time to do the basics like self-care.

My name is Donna and I am a Holistic Counsellor. A session with me is not your traditional Counselling session though.  My love of Intuitive Card Reading, Access Bars® and Reiki has lead me to where I am today, supporting others to find peace and clarity.  These are the tools sessions with me are based on.  Your session will evolve based on what guidance and support you are seeking.

During an Intuitive Card Reading, we can help find clarity in the situations and choices you are facing.  With an Access Bars® session, we ask questions while gently decluttering your brain.  A Reiki session supports the flow of energy throughout your body, as we listen to what the body is trying to tell us.

Whether our journey together is for just one session or many, my aspiration is to support you to create more ease, peace and joy in your life.  I aim to guide you towards finding clarity and ways to leave the stress and chaos behind.

I was born in Melbourne, grew up in Auckland with my mother, returned to Melbourne when I finished High School to get to know my father’s side of the family. I moved to Bundaberg with my own family where I have lived now for over 19 years. As I have always said, I am a true Auswi and I have uprooted my life and started again 3 times……..so far.  ​

I am a single mother of two amazing young adults that continue to make me proud every day!  I have loved my role as a mum even through the not-so-easy times.  I also had the privilege of caring for my mother through her cancer journey during the last 2 years of her life.  From that, I have realised that I am a carer, and I always have been. I just didn’t understand how important that was.  Until now.  This is why I have chosen to support people to see that ease and joy is possible for everyone, when they are ready to choose it.

In my early 20’s, I was working in a data entry job where I developed an RSI. Eventually I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, which I then spent many years trying to find a “solution” for. After traditional medicine was not able to help me, I tried physiotherapy, chiropractic, craniosacral therapy, alexander technique, acupuncture, Chinese medicine, aromatherapy, reiki, therapeutic massage, bowen, yoga and meditation. Wow, I’ve never tried to list them all before. There are quite a few, and I know there are more that I have forgotten! I discovered my body didn’t like to be shoved around, it liked a more gentle approach, much like a toddler not being yelled at but being asked nicely to pick up their toys.  ​ 

So, over the 30+ years that I have been functioning with a body that often lets me down, I have grown a great respect for those that are able to show me some relief. I also discovered that everything I do, think and say has a big effect on how I feel and how well, or not well, my body is functioning. For example, I KNOW practicing yoga or going for a walk every day makes a HUGE difference to my pain levels. But as most of you probably can relate, sometimes I just don’t have the energy or life gets in the way, and then I pay the price.  ​  

For these reasons and many more, I first took a class in Access Bars® and then later in Reiki. I have loved using these therapies for myself, my family and my friends and have seen the difference it has made in all our lives. I have now been sharing these amazing modalities, along with Intuitive Card Readings with my clients since 2022. I started to notice that my sessions were becoming like counselling sessions, and I was using knowledge of many other self-help tools that I have gained over my life.  One day, a course popped up that seemed to wrap up all these tools in a neat little bundle, so I jumped in. I am now so proud to have completed my Master Holistic Counselling Course and am looking forward to where this will guide me next. I love encouraging ease, joy and clarity for anyone who is ready for change in their life. I am looking forward to what this next chapter has in store for me and my clients.
